I highly recommend the recipe I’m about to share. I made it this week with some uber cheap strawberries purchased at Aldi. Now, click here for the recipe, do it, trust me. Butter aside, this cake has yogurt and fruit, so it’s a healthy dessert, right?

Ok, so now that you have read the recipe here are my thoughts.

1. I made it with non-fat vanilla yogurt, because that’s what I had at home. I didn’t have greek yogurt and my cake turned out fine.

2. I will add more lemon next time. I love lemon. As far as I’m concerned the more zest, the better.

3. I love a blueberry/lemon combo. In the near future I plan either picking blueberries, or buying them super cheap at Aldi. I think I’m going to substitute the strawberries with blueberries. Can we say, “Yum!”
